Castrol GTX wants to know... How do YOU keep your car so clean?

1. Overview and Eligibility: The Castrol GTX Contest (the "Contest") is contest sponsored by Castrol through which individuals can enter the Contest by visiting Castrol GTX.CarDomain.com, then collect votes from visitors vying for becoming one of the lucky selected winners.

The "Castrol GTX" contest (the "Contest") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees, officers, representatives, franchisees and distributors of either the Administrator (CarDomain Network, Inc.) or Sponsor (Castrol GTX), as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. Administrator: CarDomain Network, Inc. 1633 Westlake Avenue North, Suite 100. Seattle, WA 98109.

4. Duration: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT"), May 1st, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT, Dec 31, 2009 (the "Promotion Period"). Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for the Contest.

5. How to Enter: Visit and follow the links and instructions to complete the registration form. Complete and submit the registration form, including a valid email address, user story, and photo of the entrant's vehicle (the "Entry"). Once you submit the Entry, you will receive a confirmation e-mail stating your submission is up for review. After your submission is approved it will be set live on the Castrol GTX Mini-Site and users will be allowed to vote for your submission using a thumbs up, thumbs down voting procedure. The winners will be chosen by the CarDomain Editorial Staff and selected Guest Judges based on creative and editorial standards (including but not limited to, excellence in writing, creativity in selection of accessories, creativity in photographing vehicle, use of color) as applied to the photograph, and entry text (i.e., "How your car is so clean" comments provided by the entrant). The number of "Thumbs Up" votes received is a factor which may be considered by the CarDomain Editorial Staff and the Guest Judges in making their ultimate decision. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Entries do not expire and all entrants are eligible for any weekly or monthly prize after the date of their submission.

6. Entrant's Representations: By submitting an Entry, each entrant warrants and represents that (a) the Entry is original to the entrant, (b) the Entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or any other rights of any third party, (c) has not previously been entered in any other competition, (d) has not been previously published in any medium, and (e) to the extent the Entry depicts any individual, the entrant is the individual pictured or, alternatively, that the entrant has obtained permission from each person appearing in the entry or, if that person is a minor, permission from that person's parent or legal guardian, to grant the rights to the Sponsor described in the "Publicity" section below, and can make written copies of such permissions available to the Sponsor upon request.

7. Limit: Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Neither Sponsor nor Administrator will be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified.

8. Contest Prize Selection and Verification of Potential Winners: All selected potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and all winnings are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Administrator's decisions as to the administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Except where prohibited, each potential winner will be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within ten (10) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release in order to claim his/her prize and fulfill any such other requirements as determined by Administrator. If any potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (when applicable) within the required time period, potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified or forfeits for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner either by selecting the participant with the next highest number of votes or rating, or at the Administrator's discretion in accordance with the above criteria (i.e., in section 5, above). Prizes will be fulfilled approximately two (2) to six (6) weeks after the winner for each weekly, monthly and Grand Prize is selected.

9. Not a Game of Chance: The Contest is not a game of chance. In no way will any entrant, contestant, participant, voter or observer be required to pay any monetary or other consideration for their participation or involvement with this Contest.

10. Participation. This is a voluntary action to opt-in as an entrant in the Contest, for which there will be no monetary charge or other consideration. Additionally, if an entrant opts-in to receive email or other communications associated with this Contest, they will be provided the ability to opt-out of E-mail Blasts, Newsletters, etc.

11. Voting, and Selection of Grand Prize Winner. Visitors to CarDomain.com will be encouraged to vote in the Contest. Visitors are allowed one vote per day per entry. Voting in the Contest will be coordinated per the following, for each stage: (i) an announcement will be made on the Contest page(s) to the CarDomain Community that they may vote on the entrants in the Contest for a published time period, (ii) visitors to the Contest page(s) may vote via an online page tool enabling them to select either a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down vote for each entrant based upon the voter's interpretation of the published criteria of the Contest in their sole discretion, and (iii) voting will require no monetary or other consideration. The Weekly, Monthly and Grand Prize winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of the CarDomain Editorial Team and/or Guest Judges based on number of votes received and the user story of "Why My Car is Worth it," in accordance with the considerations set forth above.

12. Prizes:

• Six (6) Monthly Winners will each receive a $1,000 Cash and a case of Castrol GTX Motor Oil
• The odds of winning a prize depend on the relative performance of all entrants.. Prize are not transferable. No cash or other substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor who may substitute a prize (or component thereof) with another prize (or component thereof) of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The prize will be reported as income to a winner and the winner will be responsible for payment and reporting of all applicable taxes associated with the receipt of a prize. Prizes will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied offered by Sponsor. Limit: One prize possible per entry.

13. Publicity:Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winner's consent to Administrator and Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. In addition, all entrants to the Contest grant (by their entry) an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to Administrator, Sponsor, and their licensees, to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of the Entry in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter createdóthroughout the world and for any purposeówithout compensation to you of any kind.

14. General Conditions: Administrator reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Administrator's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion. In such event, Administrator reserves the right to award the prizes according to the criteria set forth above from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Administrator's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15. Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Administrator, and any all partners, each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliate and related companies, and each of its and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the "Released Parties") from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Contest or resulting directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Contest, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.

16. Submission Criteria — Prohibited Materials: Each registrant agrees that no portion of any materials submitted with respect to the Contest will violate any third party trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patent rights, publicity or privacy rights, or any laws or regulations. In addition, no portion of any materials shall include any material that is or could be considered defamatory, obscene, harassing, or which promotes any illegal products or services. Each registrant agrees to indemnify the Released Parties from and against any claims arising from or relating to a breach of the foregoing representation or warranty. Administrator may, but is not obligated to, remove or reject any submission with fails to conform to the foregoing guidelines which Administrator may determine in its sole discretion.

17. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize or while traveling to or from any prize-related activity.

18. Disputes: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a court in Chicago, Illinois; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant, Sponsor and Administrator in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois.

Winner List/Official Rules: For a list of winner(s) or a copy of the Official Rules, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to "The CastrolGTX Contest" Attn: Contest Administrator, c/o CarDomain Network, Inc, 1633 Westlake Avenue North, Suite 100, Seattle, WA 98109. Requests must be received no later than forty-five (45) days after the completion of the Contest. VT residents may exclude return postage.
